The Open Box team consists of a diverse group of experts in the areas of business development and technology. Lead by the savvy business mind of Katryn Harris and assisted by a resourceful support team, the defining qualities of Open Box are collaboration and communication and a focus on using technology to drive business success.
The team’s ability to work together to solve problems creatively and communicate effectively are unique in the technology industry. That same team mentality also makes Open Box a magnet for some of the industry’s top talent. When we put our heads together, as we often do, the results are nothing short of miraculous.

Katryn Harris
CEO, Co-Founder
In 2004, Katryn left her career in corporate management to found Open Box. As the CEO, she uses her key skills in strategic planning to move the company forward in innovative ways. Her knack for networking and developing relationships with both clients and strategic partners fuels the growth of Open Box.
Her ability to wow clients on an ongoing basis by developing unique solutions to difficult problems, while also giving the Open Box team the necessary expertise to get complex projects off the ground rapidly and accurately sets her apart. Katryn approaches client challenges with the perfect balance of business and technical expertise ensuring solutions not only work but make sound business sense.
As well as management experience, Katryn’s background includes expertise in translation, fund-raising in the non-profit sector, as well as a solid grounding in the technical aspects of software and web development. Her technical expertise includes .Net development (both C# and VB), database design and development and extensive Crystal Reports development for management reporting.
Keeping Open Box a productive and positive work environment is at the core of her corporate vision. Katryn’s passion for communication and desire to see those around her succeed is the cornerstone of the company and the reason why customers keep coming back and often become friends.
 Audrey Frawley
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Audrey brings over 25 years of management experience to the Open Box team. Beginning her career with Open Box in early 2010, her ability to identify gaps and provide innovative solutions quickly began contributing to increased responsibilities and company growth.
In addition to interest in business, Audrey has extensive experience in the non-profit sectors, having volunteered in the social services industry for over 15 years. She founded a community food bank and initiated a police based victim’s services agency 10 years ago, both of which are self sufficient and still in operation today.
Audrey is excited and motivated by relationships; whether these are relationships with clients and staff, or growing the relationships between processes and requirements, inspiration and solutions. Audrey ties it all together with her creativity and solid business experience. Her commitment to both staff and clients is palpable.
Audrey’s attention to detail and love for uncovering potential risks before they occur made her an obvious choice to manage client projects in tandem with Open Box operations. Her enthusiastic outlook and unique ideas inspire solid client relationships and drive projects towards success.
Jun Xie (Zane)
Senior Technical Architect
Zane graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1996.
He began his career in software development as an engineer with GUMECO where he worked with CAD/CAM design, refining & rewriting legacy scientific programs, developing a CAD drawing elements library management system and maintaining the GUMECO website.
Since then Zane has had hands-on experience in the design and development of CRM and ERP systems, B2B and B2C Applications. He is experienced in the development of Web applications, Client/Server systems, and other n-tiered distributed applications on Linux and Windows platforms. He obtained his MCSE in 1999.
Zane has excellent OOA/OOD skills, solid knowledge of data modeling, UML, and design patterns, and he is experienced in systems analysis, system architecture and project management.
Nick Salyzyn
Chief Technology Officer
Nick joined Open Box Integration in 2010 as a Senior Software Developer. Since then, he has been integral in moving the company towards new technologies and procedures from discussion through to implementation and training.
His passion has always been in education, which has applied itself in the web development world as a focus to empower clients and business owners. His first major web project was a unique eLearning platform focused on improving learning on the web which required math inputs. Having a degree both in Chemistry and in Computer Science speaks to Nick’s curiosity and willingness to use a wide variety of frameworks, technologies and languages from many sources to reach the best possible solution.
Nick’s enthusiasm for providing support and solutions to Open Box clients is evident by his continual quest for new technologies that will enhance the user experience. He is unafraid to think out of the box and discuss options and alternatives not before used. His ability to adapt effectively and quickly to the ever changing technologies has proven one of Nick’s greatest strength. He enjoys the challenge of solving complex logic and gives a fresh perspective to traditional processes.
Stas Bekman
Strategic Director
Stas joined Open Box as an investor and Director. He brings years of experience in monetizing online traffic and attracting high volume search engine traffic. Stas is also a healer, with a strong understanding of the alternative medicine market's issues and needs. Stas spent a decade designing and developing high scalability software for various Internet technologies, and published two books on the Apache web server mod_perl technology.
